The Ukrainian military leadership has plans for an offensive. After all, it is impossible to win a victory on the defensive.
This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, answering questions from journalist Natalia Nagorna. The recording of the interview with the general was published on the TSN YouTube channel.
The journalist spoke with Syrsky about the Kursk operation, after which she asked: “Do you see the location of the next daring operation in the future?”
The general laughed: “Why so bold?” – but answered in the affirmative. ” We have plans, of course. Victory cannot be achieved in defense – only in the offensive,” – said Syrsky.
Regarding how to achieve an end to the war, the military leader stated that “we must inflict such losses on him [the enemy] that he will go [for it]” not from a position of strength, but on Ukraine’s terms.

What preceded
Our defenders launched an operation in the Kursk region of Russia on August 6, 2024. For the first time in history, a non-nuclear country captured part of the territory of a nuclear state – at the peak of the operation, Ukrainian forces occupied up to 1,300 sq. km of the Kursk region.
During the year, the Russian army suffered colossal losses in the area of responsibility of the Ukrainian group “Kursk” :
– more than 77 thousand killed and wounded (among them about 4 thousand are citizens of the DPRK);
– 7236 units of equipment (destroyed or damaged).

As OBOZ.UA wrote, earlier, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky explained: the situation in the summer of 2024 was very difficult. Russia was planning further intensive offensives, increased troops and drone production, so the retreating Ukrainian soldiers needed to do something “extraordinary” . Then the decision was made to launch an offensive in Kursk.

I do hope that Ukraine will wait until the mafia state and its cockroach army are more weakened before engaging in an offensive, unless there is something there that we don’t know about.
Crimea perhaps? Ukraine are inflicting a lot of damage on infrastructure in Krasnodar and the Rostov area, plus Ukraine are taking out air defences on Crimea for fun.
I guess we’ll see.
I want to see lots more oil refineries going up in smoke. Oil depots, too.
Whatever the plans are, mafia land will be the first to feel the consequences of them.
Whatever the plans are, keep them on this side of the Atlantic. Too many russian spies in the US.
Especially in the White House.
