He notes that the Crimean platform will be special this year.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky notes that this year, literally in the air of Crimea  , it is felt that the Russian occupation there is temporary, and Ukraine is returning.

He said this in his video message .

“We are actively preparing for the new week, which is very important for all of us, for our state. Ahead is the day of our flag, the day of our independence. Ahead is the honoring of the veterans of the war for the freedom of Ukraine, ahead is the Crimean platform – this year is really special. This year, literally it is felt in the air of Crimea that the occupation there is temporary, and Ukraine is returning,” Zelensky stressed

As UNIAN reported, on August 23, 2021 in Kiev, the heads of delegations from more than 40 countries and international organizations introduced the ” Crimean Platform ” in order to end the Russian occupation of the peninsula by peaceful means.

The second Crimean Platform summit will take place online on August 23. Ukraine is preparing a plan for the economic recovery of Crimea after its liberation.

Earlier it became known that the United States allowed Kiev  to strike at the Crimea  with Western weapons.

And Zelensky  was promised a “bright” velvet season  in Crimea and a “surprise” for the Kerch Bridge.
