NV has this :
“I have not called on the president to fire Andriy Yermak, but I believe Mr. Yermak’s resignation would cool some of the fervor surrounding the parliamentary votes [to dismiss ministers implicated in energy sector corruption],” Venislavsky said.
He added that MPs are waiting for Zelenskyy to return from a series of overseas trips before raising the issue. Venislavsky said that recent statements from opposition MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, who suggested that tapes from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) refer to Yermak under the alias “Ali-baba,” sparked the calls for his removal. Presenting evidence in court, NABU published a series of intercepted calls between those responsible for organizing a money laundering scheme at state nuclear operator Energoatom.”
It’s not clear for certain whether Yermak is “Ali-baba”, or if he’s done anything illegal.
As far as I’m aware Zel is going ahead with meeting Erdogan today. There is no point in meeting gormless putler stooge Witless anyway.
Apparently Markarova is being teed up to replace Yermak. NV :
“Earlier, MP Oleksiy Honcharenko said that Oksana Markarova, who previously served as Finance Minister and Ambassador to the United States, could replace Yermak. Honcharenko added that MPs suggest Zelenskyy could fire Yermak as soon as Nov. 20.”
