Despite the conditional “truce”, the enemy once again resorted to insidious tactics. The Russian occupiers tried to approach the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, disguising themselves as Ukrainian soldiers. As a disguise, they wrapped themselves in yellow tape – a marking that Ukrainian units often use on the battlefield for recognition.
The incident was reported by the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade. The report stated that the Russians’ camouflage did not work.
Ukrainian defenders quickly noticed the discrepancies. In particular, the occupiers were given away by little things: the unnatural shade of the military uniform and the Esmarch bandage sticking out of one of their pockets. Instead, the Armed Forces of Ukraine use standard bandages, which are clearly different from their Soviet counterparts.
“Nothing gave Stirlitz away like the wrong shade of his uniform and the Esmarch tourniquet,” Ukrainian military personnel commented on the situation.
Despite an attempt to mislead the Ukrainian defenders, the enemy group was discovered in time.
The behavior and equipment did not meet the standards of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was an additional sign of deception.
The penetration attempt failed, and the enemy was neutralized.
As OBOZ.UA reported, Ukrainian defenders do not stop destroying Russian military equipment and personnel along the entire front line. This time, our border guards showed coordinated work to eliminate the invaders in the Sumy direction. The footage shows how, using drones, ammunition hits the target.
We will remind you that, thanks to the coordinated actions of the fighters of the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in early May, the occupiers suffered serious losses in Toretsk, Donetsk Oblast. At the same time, the Russians continue to claim a fake victory against the backdrop of their own defeats.
This isn’t the first time the cockroaches resorted to dirty tricks. The Ukrainian soldiers must always be on their toes with these evil creatures.
