On Wednesday, July 28, Wizz Air Hungary started operating flights in the Simferopol Flight Information Region (FIR) over the open waters of the Black Sea under the responsibility of Ukraine.

This was announced by the head of UkSATSE Andriy Yarmak.

“Flight safety and quality air navigation services, confirmed by European and American aviation safety regulators, the shortest routes, reduced flight time and fuel costs. These are the benefits of using airspace under the responsibility of Ukraine that airspace users receive. I hope that Wizz Air UK will pick up this baton, ”he said.

According to Yarmak, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of Wizz Air Hungary, also operates flights in the Simferopol FIR over the Black Sea under the responsibility of Ukraine.

It will be recalled that we recently reported that Turkish Airlines is  increasing the frequency of flights to five cities in Ukraine at once – Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv and Zaporizhia.
