Will Israel hand over captured Russian weapons to Ukraine: Ambassador puts an end to the question

He noted that such an initiative does not exist.

Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky stated that there is currently no talk of transferring Russian weapons seized in Lebanon to Ukraine . In an interview with Radio Liberty, he noted that Israel supports Ukraine and condemns Russian aggression. However, there is no talk of military support for Ukraine.

“The main consideration is the unwillingness to disrupt our contacts with Russia, the unwillingness to put our security at risk, because we understand that this could lead to very serious consequences for the security of Israel,” the ambassador explained.

He recalled that Israel had transferred to Ukraine components of the early warning system, which were to be integrated into the general system of warning Ukrainian citizens. However, whether this was done is a question for the Ukrainian authorities.

Commenting on the information that Israel allegedly agreed to transfer Russian weapons seized in Lebanon to Ukraine, he noted that such an initiative does not exist, it is a “broken telephone”.

“Sharren Haskel, when she was still a member of the Knesset, a member of parliament, and not a deputy foreign minister, came up with a private legislative initiative, according to which Israel would have transferred captured Russian-made weapons to Ukraine. This initiative did not advance in the Knesset. Since then, she has become a deputy foreign minister and can no longer, as a member of the government, submit private legislative initiatives, so I think we can put an end to this,” he explained.

The ambassador added that the transfer of weapons is entirely the responsibility of the army and the Ministry of Defense. And so far, the Israeli Ministry of Defense has not made any such decisions.

  1. Israel: Our very good relations with Russia are far more important than with Ukraine. So, we dont send any weapons.

Well we know what the Israeli government s more important. Fuckem.

    • They don’t have the courage to recognize the fact that ruzzia started the Israel – hamas war. That’s ok, they just gave ruzzians green light to attack and kill more israelis.

    • I was thinking the same thing. I know that a number of Israeli politicians are very angry at mafia land.

  3. Israel is not the bravest of nations under the rat Netanyahu. But, there are many Israeli politicians who are furious with mafia land. Maybe they are sending weapons, but in a roundabout way. There’s got to be a reason why this info/rumor leaked out.
