Why Trump’s comments about Putin not attacking Kyiv are absolute rubbish

A lot of rubbish comes out of the White House these days but Trump’s latest comment about Putin really need addressed because they are total nonsense.

Last night Trump basically praised Putin for not attacking Kyiv for a week because, apparently, Trump had personally asked him to.

And Kyiv wasn’t attacked for a week. For Trump, this is evidence that Putin “kept his word.”

And so, Russia, in Trump’s eyes, is walking into peace talks today with Ukraine with some valuable political capital stored up.

But it’s all total bollocks. Even Russian propagandists are mocking Trump about it.

If we accept that Ukraine won’t concede to territorial demands, which it really shouldn’t, there’s only one or two ways this war is going to end, either by defeating Russia, or the rat in the Kremlin being ousted from power.
The rat can’t end the war as it will be seen in itself as defeat, and he’ll be shown the door, or more likely, he’ll be shown a fleeting glimpse of a high up window.
