Boris has a hot young wife; Carrie, who crossed Cummings, who then began referring to her as “Princess Nut-Nut.” Understandably Boris was not pleased about that and sacked him. He has been working assiduously ever since to bring him down. I’d say he’s a likely Russian asset and of course Boris has only himself to blame for hiring him in the first place.
Cummings has never fully explained what he did in his three years in Moscow. What is certain is that he has a thick MI5 file.
