As often happens with Russians, their epiphany occurred only during Ukrainian captivity.

Elite Russian intelligence officers have been captured by Ukraine in the Torets direction , according to the telegram channel of the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It is noted that five Russian occupiers were captured by infantrymen of the 2nd Azov battalion. Moreover, the Russians turned out to be not ordinary “mobs” or “convicts”, but experienced intelligence officers with orders. They resisted the Ukrainian defenders for several days, until the Russian commander was eliminated. Then his wards chose life and surrendered. 

Later, the prisoners said on camera that before being captured, they called for artillery fire on themselves, but the artillery began firing only after they had already surrendered to the Azov fighters.

The Russians also said on camera that they expected to be tortured in captivity, but nothing of the sort happened to them. Except that the Ukrainian fighters scolded them.

“Yes, the guys are angry, of course. There was another incident where some guys from the Russian side brazenly shot the guys who surrendered. In general, I understood the guys’ anger. But even though it happened to them, they didn’t do anything to us at all. Yes, of course, a few words… Who are we to them? Occupiers, that’s it. Right? Right! I think so too,” said one of the prisoners. 

Already in captivity, the occupiers also confessed to committing war crimes, including the executions of civilians and Ukrainian prisoners.

“The “Ninth” gave us the order to shoot all civilians. It was still Group “B”. It existed among us. It can “zero out” us freely. We refused the order – we were zeroed out. Well, the “Ukhanovites” – the allies – have the order to fuck everyone in a row. If there is a male civilian in civilian clothes – that’s it, put out the “dill”, – said another captured Russian.
