Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump says that everyone is satisfied with Hegsett’s work.
The White House has begun the process of searching for a new defense secretary amid scandals surrounding Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth, NPR reports, citing an American official who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The unnamed official also confirmed a New York Times report that Hegseth shared details with his wife and brother in advance of the strikes in Yemen last month. Hegseth had previously shared details of the operation against the Houthis with senior White House officials on the Signal channel, where the journalist was accidentally added.
Notably, several senior Hegseth advisers have resigned in the past few days, some of whom have been accused of involvement in the leaks.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump says that everyone is happy with Hegseth’s work and that he is “doing a great job.” According to the American leader, the current recruitment rate is the best in 28 years. He calls the reports about Hegseth “fake news.”
“It’s just fabrications. It’s just the grumbling of fired employees. You know, he was appointed to get rid of a lot of bad people, and that’s what he does. So when you do that, you’re not always going to have friends,” Donald Trump summed up.

This Hegseth is a crying joke!
Who isn’t, in this deplorable administration?
“citing an American official who spoke on condition of anonymity.”
lol, here we go again! Oh well, parrots will parrot…
The Pentagon could do better, for sure, but anyone that believes the US media is bound to be embarrassed if they maintain any credibility. NPR has already lost theirs. In REAL journalism, journalists use sources with names so the readers can hold them accountable. Anonymous sources are for tabloids and parrots.
Does this change the fact any that Hegseth is a pebble when he should be a boulder?
Of course, Trump promptly contradicts himself, like he enjoys doing almost as much as praising himself. If everyone is satisfied with Hegseth’s work, why the hell fire him?
Not that I mind. It’s actually high time. No, correction … the goofball should never have been given this post in the first place.
Contradictions, right? No prinicipals, no integrity, no moral compass, The real contradiction is in the article – “the american leader…” Now thats a contradiction.
I can’t argue with that, Mike.
From Adam Mockler:
Replace him by Hegseth’s wife, she knows all the state secrets already……………or her hairdresser………………………..
