White House ready to send delegation to Kremlin for talks on Ukraine – Trump

US President Donald Trump said he was ready to send an American delegation to Moscow for talks on the war in Ukraine.

He made the remarks while speaking to reporters outside the White House.

During a press conference, the US President was asked if he was ready to send negotiators to russia to discuss a possible settlement to the war.

In response, Trump said he did not rule out such a scenario.

“Well, I would do that. I would really like this war to end,” he stressed.

The US President did not provide any other details regarding the possible format of the talks or the potential composition of the delegation.

Trump also drew attention to the number of victims on both sides of the war.

“I would very much like to see, I would very much like to see an end to the conflict between russia and Ukraine, where 25,000 young soldiers were killed last month, and that’s an average of 25,000-30,000 soldiers per month,” he stressed.
