The Kremlin called the upcoming phone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump important against the backdrop of the talks that took place in Istanbul, and announced the exact time of the call between the two leaders.
As stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Putin will call Trump on Monday at 5:00 p.m.
He also added that a possible meeting between Putin and Trump depends on their personal agreements, stressing that it must be well prepared. Peskov also added that a possible visit to Russia by Trump’s special envoy Witkoff could be agreed upon “instantly” if necessary.
He also commented on the war in Ukraine, stating that Russia “will achieve its goals, but it is better to achieve them through political and diplomatic means.”

putler’s diplomacy means the capitulation of Ukraine, it doesn’t mean coming to any agreements.
And that’s his definition of “peace”. It sounds like Trump bought that propaganda too. I wonder if any of his advisors read any books on the KGB. Putler’s “peace” means Ukraine is quiet because it is levelled and all the citizens are dead. Peaceful like a cemetery.
I don’t think Trump bought anything. All he can think about is making deals while civilians are being targeted with Iranian drones every night.
Unfortunately he is another slow learner and continues to think he can turn putin.
Both Putler’s and Zelensky’s ‘goals’ are for the ass. As Zaluzhny stated before he got fired, neither side can win.
