Serhii Zgurets, director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, noted that the supply of ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine provides an opportunity to inflict significant losses on the enemy, which reduces its offensive potential.

He told about this on Espresso.

“Now the enemy is trying to put pressure on all areas of the front. If we look at the intensity of hostilities, there were 60 of them on June 2. Let me remind you that according to the reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on peak days, starting from the period of the Kharkiv offensive, there were 150 clashes per day. Today, we see a decrease in the intensity of the enemy’s actions. This may indicate that, on the one hand, the enemy has suffered significant losses, and on the other, he is regrouping,” noted the director of the Defense Express information and consulting company.

According to him, the enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on a number of areas of the front, in particular in the Pokrovsky direction.

“If we talk about any advances by the invaders, then we are talking about tactical advances within a few hundred meters, for which the Russian army pays a very high price. According to the statistics of May, the losses of the invaders were the largest during the entire period of hostilities. We have seen 38,000 destroyed Russian soldiers. We understand that now, in view of the arrival of ammunition to the Armed Forces, the situation is such that it is possible to inflict significant losses on the enemy, which reduces his offensive potential,” emphasized Serhiy Zgurets.

  • On June 2, the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces   stated that 60 combat clashes took place at the front. The Russians continue to operate most actively in the Pokrovsky direction. The defense forces removed dozens more units of equipment belonging to the Russian occupiers and 1,270 soldiers of the Russian army.
