In Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, Ukrainian defenders are carrying out counter-sabotage measures to identify and neutralize Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG). The enemy is being neutralized on the approaches to the city, the situation is under full control.
This was reported on Saturday, July 19, by the Donetsk operational-tactical group (OTG) . Photos of neutralized Russian occupiers were also published.
“In the city of Pokrovsk, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine are conducting counter-sabotage measures aimed at identifying and neutralizing enemy DRGs. The situation is under full control,” the report says.
The Donetsk OTU stated that all attempts by the Russians to get to Pokrovsk end in defeat, as the sabotage groups are neutralized on the approaches to the city.
It is also noted that the Defense Forces are promptly responding to all threats and guaranteeing the safety of residents who have decided to remain in Pokrovsk.
The OTU urged people to remain calm, observe informational silence, and not spread unverified information.
As OBOZ.UA wrote, the other day the National Police showed how they were rescuing people from Pokrovsk under Russian shelling. Despite constant raids by enemy drones, the “White Angel” unit and volunteers make several trips to the city every day and evacuate civilians on the go.
Captain Artem Sholudko, an officer of the Spartan brigade, said that in the Pokrovsky direction, the Russian military changed their fighting tactics, trying to avoid losses. The occupiers are increasingly using small infantry groups and motorized vehicles.
