Rheinmetall remains one of the major suppliers of weapons to Ukraine, including armored vehicles and other military equipment

The German company Rheinmetall confirmed that it had delivered a certain number of new KF41 Lynx infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) to UkraineIt also noted that it had supplied a “three-digit number” of older Marder 1A3 IFVs.

This information was disclosed in a new company report, which revealed details about the services provided and equipment supplied to the Ukrainian military. The list is quite extensive, so it is worth taking a closer look at the military equipment separately.

Rheinmetall also reported the transfer of a “high double-digit number” of Leopard 1A5 and Leopard 2A4 tanks in several batches. The transfer also included Skyranger 35 anti-aircraft guns mounted on Leopard 1 chassis, which had appeared in earlier videos.

As for automotive equipment, according to the German company, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are using several hundred trucks manufactured by Rheinmetall. Additionally, 26 new vehicles were delivered recently.

The RMMV HX trucks are also part of the Skynex air defense system, which is already being used in Ukraine to shoot down drones and cruise missiles. There is also mention of the transfer of more than 20 Caracal 4×4 tactical vehicles, which are used by the Air Assault Forces of Ukraine.

Rheinmetall states that armored vehicles and main battle tanks are currently serviced at its Rheinmetall Ukrainian Defense Industry facility in western Ukraine. There are plans to open service centers in other regions in the future. The company also operates a joint venture with KNDS in Lithuania, which also provides maintenance services for Western-made equipment.

From Defense Express we would like to note that As of spring 2025, Germany had delivered more than 140 Marder 1A3 IFVs to Ukraine. This puts the number in the “three-digit” range, although the actual figure may be higher, as details of German military aid are currently being kept confidential.

As for the Lynx, one vehicle had been delivered to Ukraine for testing in early 2025. In late 2025, it was announced that funding had been secured for five more, which were expected to arrive in Ukraine in early 2026. This suggests that at least five or six of these IFVs may have been delivered so far, depending on whether the first prototype is counted as part of the Ukrainian fleet.

Further deliveries of the KF41 depend on whether funding for the IFVs has been secured. There is currently no information on this in open sources. It should be noted that, if sufficient orders were received, the company proposed expanding local production in Ukraine.

It is worth noting that this refers either to equipment manufactured by Rheinmetall or to equipment refurbished or repaired at the group’s facilities. In addition, some deliveries were made under “round-trip” arrangements, in which German vehicles were supplied in exchange for Soviet-designed tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, as was the case with the Czech Republic and Greece.
