What if someone with ties to russia was shaping the Trump administration from the inside?

Imagine this: a Kremlin-linked figure is put in charge of hiring every top U.S. official. Sounds like a conspiracy theory?

Meet Sergio Gor — Trump’s head of presidential personnel, tasked with selecting and vetting 4,000 political appointees across government.

There’s just one problem: he’s never been vetted himself.

According to a New York Post investigation, Gor never submitted the basic SF-86 security clearance form — the same form every unpaid White House intern is required to complete.

No background check. No vetting. Just an “interim clearance” and Trump’s trust.

Gor claims he was born in Malta. But Maltese officials say there’s no record of his birth. Locals who knew him called him “the Russian boy.” In a recent post, Elon Musk said that Gor “deliberately lied about where he was born on Federal forms.”

Even more alarming — Gor fought to eliminate SF-86 requirements altogether, claiming the “deep state” would block Trump’s people. He wanted full control over the U.S. government — without any oversight.

Now ask yourself: What if this wasn’t just incompetence? What if someone with ties to russia was shaping the Trump administration from the inside?

It would explain a lot:
🔹 The flood of pro-russian appointments
🔹 The purging of anyone who stood up to the Kremlin
🔹 The eerie subservience to Moscow

When the man responsible for vetting refuses to be vetted, it’s not a personnel issue. It’s a national security crisis.

Sergio Gor may be a well-placed Russian mole in the Republican Party working for Drumpf in the White House Presidential Personnel Office. Some Republicans in Congress regularly espouse Russian propaganda. I would be very skeptical about any White House appointee who refuses to complete the required SF-86 security clearance form. It makes him look like he has something to hide in his past. Of course, Drumpf is also very Russian “friendly,” eager to espouse Putin’s propaganda. He did this at the G7 Conference in Canada when he defended Putin publicly at a press conference.

If Gor’s allegiance to russia happens to be investigated, validated and true…

  • What if T, under russian influence, was shaping the T administration from the inside?
  • What decision will be made regarding Gor?
  • Are the 4,000 political appointees who were chosen under Gor and who risk being russian spies or at a minimum russian supporters going to be individually investigated? Who are they?

The fact that the T’s cronies are preaching the russian propaganda would become explainable.

This would also shed a light on the fact that T is radically siding with russia who has started a war against the wonderful, free and democratic country of Ukraine.

Dear MAGA supporters who are real patriots, I know that you are out there and that you genuinely love your beautiful America.
Aren’t you starting to be slightly afraid of losing your country to russia yet?

This appointment of an apparent Russian ‘mole’ in the White House is another example of how a dictate from Putin (the puppet master) to Trump (the puppet) is used to subvert the #USA. When you add this situation to all the pro-Russian bias coming out of Trump’s office it’s way beyond the possibility of such events being a ‘coincidence’.

Professor Sheremeta, your post if accurate, raises very serious questions.
47.2 is definitely relying on SCOTUS immunity ruling, to do as he pleases.
I wish every thing we hear of how this administration is conducting itself was just a bad nightmare, when in reality it is far worse.

Mark Crossman

You asked about what if someone with Russian ties was shaping policy from the inside, well isn’t that exactly what is happening? From the top!

The US have put Toytowns Mayor in as POTUS…. It would be amusing if it wasmt so shameful and transparent.🤨

What a shame.

Keith Kellogg — former U.S. general and Trump advisor on Ukraine — smiling and hugging the dictator Lukashenko.

Looks like the U.S. is now choosing which dictatorships to befriend.

No principles. Just preferences.

The U.S. has officially entered the war with Iran.

So much for the man who said that he won’t start any new wars.

How do I view the U.S. attack on Iran?

As an economist and observer of global affairs, I see both the justification and the risks. Let me explain.

Why the attack is understandable:

  1. Iran is a terrorist state.

It has long supported and harbored terrorist organizations. Its fingerprints are found across conflicts in the Middle East and beyond.

  1. Iran is russia’s closest partner.

Iranian drones are killing Ukrainians as we speak. Tehran supplies Moscow with weapons, technology, and moral cover — directly fueling russian aggression.

  1. Iran was close to developing nuclear weapons.

This is not speculation. Numerous intelligence reports from different countries have documented Iran’s progress. If the regime were to go nuclear, it would pose a catastrophic threat to the region and global stability.

In this light, Iran is reaping the consequences of its actions.

But there are two serious concerns:

  1. The MAGA hypocrisy.

Trump ran on the promise of no new wars. He mocked Obama and Biden for allegedly planning to attack Iran, calling them “weak” and “incapable of negotiation.” Now he’s doing exactly what he once condemned. It’s fair to judge him by his own standards.

  1. The unintended beneficiary: russia.

War in the Gulf will raise global oil prices. And who benefits? Russia, which is heavily dependent on oil exports. A conflict designed to punish one aggressor may end up enriching another.

People on both sides of this issue will find this post uncomfortable. That’s fine. But this is how economists think — in terms of tradeoffs, costs and benefits, long-term consequences.

It’s not about cheering or condemning. It’s about clarity. And clarity is desperately needed right now.

Wonder if Trump gave Putin a heads up. I’d say very likely.

Putin Acknowledged Hundreds of Russian Nuclear Scientists on Location in Iran Helping with Their Nuclear Program

Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed this week, during a meeting with global news agency heads on June 19, that Russia currently has over 200 nuclear experts working at Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant, and that the total number could increase to 600. He emphasized that Russia would not be withdrawing, and an agreement with Israel had been reached to ensure their safety.
.
In addition, Rosatom chief Alexei Likhachev noted on June 20 that Russia has up to 600 staff there, including around 250 permanent staff, with others on temporary assignment. He added that while some temporary personnel have been evacuated, the core team remains operational, and the plant is in a pre‑mobilization state in case the situation deteriorates.

When you compare the different US behavior towards Ukraine vs Israel/Palestine/Iran on many levels, you need to ask yourself – why?

Claus Anderson Norup

Sayed Badrawi Trump is Putins “Slave”.

Vladimir Yudashkin

Today actually he committed one of his rare wise decisions.

Trump is amazingly bad overall, but here was a very correct and marvellous decision for the US and the world. The Iranian regime has already been degraded but needs more effort to ensure that their nuclear capacity and world trouble making capacity are reduced to a very low level. The Middle East will be much more peaceful without the appalling human abuse proxies in Syria (thanking finished after propping up the monster Assad), Yemen, Iraq and Lebanon.

  1. Iran helps putler to murder Ukrainian children. Its regime is as evil as putler, but probably does not have the same level of support in the population.
Trump is tough on the countries he hates : Ukraine and Iran.
Soft as shit on ruZZia and its satellite Belarus.
One rule for one, one rule for another!
