What has Senator Ashley Moody said about Ukraine? – Content Alert

“Under Biden, the U.S. poured billions of taxpayer dollars into Ukraine with no clear end to the war in sight. Now, we finally have a President committed to bringing peace—and this is how Ukraine responds? America is not your piggy bank.”

AI Overview :

“Based on her 2026 U.S. Senate campaign and recent policy positions, Florida Senator Ashley Moody has expressed concerns regarding the effectiveness of US aid to Ukraine and has prioritized border security over foreign aid. She has been identified as a Republican not co-sponsoring certain Ukraine aid legislation.

  • Opposition to Specific Aid Packages: In February 2024, Attorney General Moody opposed a U.S. Senate border bill, arguing that the security provisions were insufficient and that foreign aid, specifically $60 billion for Ukraine, should not be tied to it.”

Trump impeachment whistleblower Alexander Vindman launches Democratic Senate campaign in Florida

Vindman, a retired lieutenant colonel now challenging Republican Ashley Moody, testified before Congress about Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

April 26, 2026

Alex Vindman

If we don’t win the House and the Senate in 2026, we might end up with a country that is completely unrecognizable.

I know that sounds blunt. But it’s true.

We are witnessing corruption at the highest levels of government. While our families suffer from sky-high costs, career politicians are busy trading insider stocks and enriching themselves.

Just look at my opponent, Florida Senator Ashley Moody:

  • She executed more than $2 million in stock trades in her first three months as Senator.
  • She purchased up to $250,000 of stock in a Big Pharma company while serving on the committee that directly oversees pharmaceutical policy.
  • Watchdog groups called the trading pattern “extremely troubling” and evidence of “institutional rot.”

We deserve better. We need leaders who are ready to fix this broken system — not corrupt career politicians handpicked by the elites who rigged it in the first place. That’s one of the reasons I support a ban on Congressional stock trading.

I’m running for the United States Senate because I refuse to give up on our country. If you are with me, will you please join the thousands of supporters who are contributing to flip Florida blue?

After I reported Donald Trump’s corrupt phone call with Ukraine, the president has done everything to try to smear me and my family.

Unfortunately for him, I still have more fight left in me.

A recent poll has me just one percentage point behind Ashley Moody – 43 to 42. She is vulnerable, and if we can keep getting our message in front of undecided voters, then we have a real chance to win this race and take back the Senate majority for Democrats.

The urgency of the moment could not possibly be greater ……….

………….

James Carville :

“I have a reputation for saying it like it is, folks — and Florida’s Senate race has me on the edge of my seat. If Alex Vindman wins, then Democrats are virtually GUARANTEED to take back the majority!

I am so impressed with Alex. As an Army veteran, he’s put his life on the line to defend our country and its values. Now, he’s taking the fight straight to MAGA and has a real chance to flip Florida blue…but this won’t be an easy race.

The same far-right billionaires who helped elect Trump are going to spend WHATEVER it takes to help protect Ashley Moody. The only way Alex can win this race — and flip the Senate majority for Democrats — is with your help.”

  1. Lt Col Vindman is up against the Putin Wing of the GOP in Florida.
Currently he’s one point behind Moody.
I’d say it’s essential for Ukraine that he beats this skank.

    • Vindman is not long in the race and is already so close to Moody, the filthy traitor. Not to forget that Florida is a deep red state, so this means things are not looking good for the neo-Nazi wing of the GOP for November.

    • This is not a format for personal political campaigning, it is about helping Ukraine and Ukraine doesn’t interfere in foreign politics, unlike putler did in Hungary, so why should you? If you want to post an article, post the article. If you can’t respect that simple rule then you don’t respect what we have built here. This is not the place for personal politics. Put the campaigning stuff on Facebook or another format. Let’s try to keep the politics out of support for Ukraine. Stop chasing people away from this forum. Use persuasion instead of insults. If you have ever visited Ukraine you would know what I mean. This is just a friendly warning. Don’t make me start pulling destructive and divisive posts down for the first time. Let’s help Ukraine instead of hurt Ukraine.

      • Sir Red I agree with your general premise, however, to suggest a post supporting a candidate who is clearly PRO UKRAINE is hardly personal campaigning. Seems to me, in this particular case, by condemning the posts, you’re actually campaigning. I am pro Ukraine and if that means being against Trump or any MAGA who blindly follows Trump, et al, so be it.

      • You can do what you like. It’s your site. Nothing I can do about it.
The post is about Ukraine and its subject is a UKRAINIAN, who wants to help Ukraine and will potentially make a very big difference.

For personal reasons I am heavily invested in the survival of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova as free independent states. I want them to thrive and be free. I will back anyone from any party who will help them. I don’t care about their individual politics.
I have been involved with one Ukrainian charity since 2014 and took on another two since 2022.
I lost one good friend and have two others on active service.
I have Ukrainian friends that I know personally who tirelessly raise money on the LI platform.
I am a Conservative. I disagree with almost everything that the ruling UK Labour Party does, but on Ukraine I support them.
New long range ballistic missiles have been designed to be mass produced specifically for Ukrainian needs.
They will be in action soon.
The UK has designed new drones for Ukrainian needs. Soon we will see swarms of them.
Ukraine aid has been increased for 2026. In addition, £1 billion of putinaZi cash has just been handed over.
If say Roger Wicker was in a fight against a pro-putler/end aid for Ukraine Democrat, I would post a summary of the candidates’ positions, ESPECIALLY if the outcome could have a dramatic effect on aid to Ukraine as the Vindman-Moody contest does.
It is you who is hung up on the politics, not I.
I am certain I would not have heard anything from you if I was writing about that hypothetical case.
My post contrasted the positions of the two candidates, one of whom is Ukrainian and supports Ukraine.
The opinions expressed were in the comments section, which anyone other than kremtrolls are entitled to post.
If you have information that suggests that Moody is a better candidate for Ukraine than Vindman, why don’t you present it?
Most of my posts are either written by Ukrainians or by supporters of Ukraine. I don’t care what their personal politics are, as long as they hate ruZZia and support Ukraine.
I occasionally post some kremkrapp; albeit with a health warning.
One of the world’s leading pro-Ukraine (the only?) conservative news sites; the Daily Telegraph, consistently produces brilliant articles about the war and I often post them, because luckily I am a paid subscriber.
Very occasionally, they will publish something that is not in Ukrainian interests and I might post that too, then say in comments why it’s wrong.
But most of my posts are not political at all.

      • This doesn’t seem to me like “personal campaigning”.

And this has nothing to do with “Ukraine interfering in foreign politics”, since (as far as I know) this isn’t an official Ukrainian state-supported site.

        “it is about helping Ukraine”

And it seems to me that educating people that one candidate strongly supports Ukraine and one candidate does not *is* helping Ukraine.

    • As I’m sure you remember, I started this site because Disqus was shutting us down and we were tired of their Moderators anyway. For me, I wanted a place to vent since my Ukrainian wife wouldn’t let me go fight during the Maidan revolution. I felt I had to do something. Then I found Ukraine Today and you, Sir Scradge. You were the one I always agreed with and you were the one who encouraged me to speak out and vent. We slaughtered Michael from London and other RTrolls every day.
Ukraine Today was OUR ANSWER for Russia Today.

Then the invasion of Crimea happened and the ROC facilitated the invasion of the Donbas. Again, I felt helpless. UAT helped me remedy that feeling of helplessness. I had others that felt the way I did and we were a force.

5 years later the Ukrainian news site was closing the UAT project and Disqus was shutting down too. I thought everyone felt the same and I wanted to give you guys and me a place to continue. And without Mods!

We have now made thousands in ad revenue and we are going on 12M hits. I see what happened to our numbers since we started campaigning in 2024. We lost about half of our Readers. I am trying to prevent that from happening again this year and in the future.

Supporting Ukraine is BIGGER than any one person or any campaign. I think you would agree. That is also why I have donated ALL of our ad revenue here. I couldn’t bare the thought of profiting on Ukraine’s misery.

I don’t often speak about it but it is not easy to maintain this format and keep it completely open, uncensored and attractive. Yes, there is a cost associated too. We made it work and I always tried to credit everyone.

And what do I get? Now almost 7 years later I could count the compliments on one hand. I get hate tossed at me, I get complaints because I do something different from someone else and even more when I try to keep politics out of this site. Sure its impossible but if we focus on Ukraine it is much easier. There is not Republican money or Democrat Javelins and Ukraine does not care where the support comes from.

I shouldn’t have to moderate this site that is wonderfully populated by great people volunteering their time and energy to support Ukraine. This should be easy and enjoyable for me. I do not understand why some people yearn so mightily to inject their politics and therefore alienate a large chunk of Readers.

Support is not Left or Right, it is yellow and blue. Why is this concept so hard? I would shut this site down if it wasn’t for all the Readers who found a home to get the truth about Ukraine, and in their own language.

Our victory is coming and I am asking for brotherhood. In a pinch, do we ask the ambulance driver if he voted for Trump?

Let’s keep this project together and see it to victory and a brighter day for OUR Ukraine. God bless everyone here and God give us the strength and fortitude to continue. Like President Reagan used to say, “politics stops at the water’s edge.” Let’s maintain that ethos, together. Slava Ukraini~~!!

  2. Should Vindman win, it will be a historical mind blowing event in a deep red state like Florida.
