πŸš€ Today in 1996 russia 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 President Dudayev during 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 talks.
𝐊𝐒π₯π₯𝐞𝐝 by a Russian rocket during a telephone conversations on April 21, 1996.

πŸ“ž Moscow pretended to want ‘negotiate’ with the first Chechen President, in the middle of the First Chechen War,

Only to use the phone call to calculate his position,
And launch a missile to 𝐀𝐒π₯π₯ him.

A brutal lesson of what happens πŸ™„
When you try to negotiate with Moscow.

πŸ’‘ The year before, in an #Interview Dudayev predicted
Much of what’s happening in the modern day:

🚨 He spoke of a russia once again invading neighbors, and once again trying to scare and bully the world into submission.

Through its army, its war crimes and nuclear weapons.

☝️ Dudayev foresaw the world facing russism
Like it faced 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐒𝐬𝐦 before.

And he was damn right.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ Dudayev is also famous for the quote:

“Russia will eventually face #Ukraine
Russia will fall when the sun of Ukrainian freedom rises.”

Marijn:

☝️ Note Putin wasn’t even in power at this point in time, but Russia was pulling the exact same tricks.

It’s not Putin’s Russia after all,
It’s Russia’s Putin.

Putin, by the way, rose to power in 1999, after the FSB orchestrated the Moscow Bombings and blamed Muslim Chechens for it, igniting the Second Chechen War.

This invasion of Chechnya gave Putin great popularity and, eventually, the Presidency.

Putin literally rose to power through invasions, wars and getting his own people killed.

And he’ll keep killing his own people just to stay in power.

Johar Uhaev:

β€œRussians pointlessly assume that it’s me who pushes the chechen nation towards resistance, cause even if they kill me, the nation will keep fighting. Even if I personally demand my nation to stop resisting, they will not listen to me. They know russian world and they don’t want to unite with it ever again”

Dzhokhar Dudayev, 1995

(He was assassinated in 1996 april, and in 6 months after that Chechnya won over Russia)

Johar again:

Some of his citations:

Β«a slave who does not seek to leave slavery deserves double slaveryΒ»

Β«if you don’t have the strength to win, then have the strength not to submitΒ»

Β«if the cowardice of today’s fathers is called caution, then the time will certainly come when the slavery of children will be called devotionΒ»

Β«I have no hatred for Russia, I have a feeling of disgust, like towards dead cattleΒ»

Β«every Chechen is a hero, and every Chechen is a general, I am the 1000001st (at that moment the population of Chechens was 1 million)Β»

Β«There is no word for β€œorder” in the Chechen language. We have never had prisons, exile, serfdom, slavery, princes or nobles. Neither the master nor his lackey are indicatedΒ»

Β«if the world wants to avoid cataclysms of physical destruction, then it must isolate Russia from the international communityΒ»

Β«I’m not going to go to Moscow and listen to Yeltsin’s familiar gruntingΒ»

Β«a free Chechen is very useful to everyone, not so much to himself as to those around himΒ»

Β«It’s better to be a crazy brave man than a calculating cowardΒ»

Β«if you send troops into Estonia, I will send planes into the skyΒ» (by telephone to the Soviet leadership, while serving in Estonia)

Brent Seavey:

You know, when I was younger I talked to so many people who were around during the buildup to WWII, and so many of them said they had no idea what the Nazis and Japanese were doing. Now, we watch daily the atrocities committed by the Russians. How will we explain away letting a new holocaust be televised into our living rooms nightly and not doing all we could to stop it?

Alessio Rebola:

Today is the day of Dzhokhar Dudayev’s tragic death, 21.04.1996. And today is a historic day for Ukraine. This means that Dzhokhar’s death will not be in vain.
The Ukrainian sun will definitely rise! And, like a demon burned by the rays of the sun, Russia will die.

  1. β€œThe Ukrainian sun will definitely rise! And, like a demon burned by the rays of the sun, Russia will die.”

    Amen.

  2. That’s πŸ‘‡ how to do negotiations with Moscow. You have to argue in a way that Putin understands!

    😈

  3. Ukraine must push the invaders out of Donbas, blow the bridge connecting RuSSia with Crimea. After that it’s lottery, the commander (Zelensky) must decide if invading Crimea is still realistic or not.

    • Good plan, Mike. Yeah, isolate Crimea, wait til supplies run low and the RuSSians withdraw. Like the successful offensive in the Kherson region 2022! 😈
