“We’re losing Konstantinovka”: DeepState reports problems at the front

The analyst noted that Pokrovsk and Mirgorod have already been lost.

The front line in the Russia-Ukraine war has largely stabilized at the strategic level, but problematic areas remain, Roman Pogorely, co-founder and analyst of the DeepState monitoring project, told LIGA.net .

“Compared to the situation six months or a year ago, we’ve actually managed to more or less strategically stabilize the front. Tactically, not quite. We’re losing Kostiantynivka,” he said.

He added that the Russians are putting pressure on the Gulyaipole and Liman areas, as well as on the Slavyansk front.

“Pokrovsk is also under extreme pressure; things are tough there. We recently completely lost that city and Myrnohrad,” Pogorely noted.

At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not announce the loss of these two cities in the Donetsk region.

The analyst acknowledged that there are problem areas on the front, but “in a more global, more strategic sense, a trend toward stabilization is already being observed.” He added that the enemy is suffering heavy losses.

“We’re killing Russians—consistently and in large numbers. We can more or less build a certain technological defense, and our middle strike is developing and growing,” Pogorely said.

According to him, most areas on the front are stable, in particular Kupyansk, Dnipropetrovsk region, and the Stepnogorsk area.

“The Russians recently announced that they were launching an offensive on Zaporizhzhia because they thought they had reached the banks of the Konka River – but no,” Pogorely explained.

He hopes the Russian occupiers will have another disappointing month in terms of advancing and capturing territory. According to him, this is precisely the trend that has been observed so far.
