As reported by the regional headquarters of the National Police, law enforcement officers are currently establishing the circumstances of the man’s murder. It is said that a message that an unknown man shot at a passerby in the Primorsky district of the city was received on the special hotline “102” at about 10:30.

“The shooter fled the scene of the crime. The victim died. All the circumstances of the crime are currently being established by the investigative task force of the territorial police unit and forensic experts. Measures are being taken to detain the shooter,” the statement said.

At the same time, local Telegram channels write that a well-known local activist, Demyan Ganul, was killed. A photo of a man lying on the asphalt was also published, and it is clear that he has a tattoo on his body similar to Ganul’s.

“The central office of the National Police has formed an investigative and operational group of the best workers, it has already left for the city of Odessa. Also, the head of the National Police, General Vyhovsky, has been sent to the city of Odessa,” he emphasized.

Klimenko noted that he is taking “personal control of the investigation into solving this crime.”
