Ukraine. Right at this moment there are a lot of weak people all round the world trying to persuade Ukraine that there is a need to compromise with Russia. These people are weak, even pathetic. The fact that many are senior people holding or have held high office in places like NATO and USA does not make them special or good. They are weak and cowards that is all, not statesmen. Know them as such and recognise them for what they really are. Thank you for those staying strong like the UK and Czech Republic. But dont nelect strengthening your own defence, you may yet have to fight..
These weak people are willing to trade Ukraine and Ukrainians – to sell them down the river because they do not have the skills or mental strength to look the Russian evil in the face and see it for what it truly is. Remember that we are where we are today BECAUSE of their weakness.
Ukraine is not weak, it is not poor. A trip around Kyiv shows this. It has the human, technical and physical resources to drive Russia into the sea. But today it is badly governed by an appalling government and with a few wonderful exceptions a corrupt parliament. Ukrainian society must not blame themselves for this. The alternatives at the last election were also bad and corrupt. But now is the time to get strong and not to accept this situation. Every day make your voices heard that the fight is not good enough. After the mess over the mobilisation law in parliament the speaker must resign. He has failed the country at a most crucial time in its history. His weakness will kill Ukrainians today and every day untll proper mobilisation and demobilisation laws are passed.
The MOD and general staff must also look reform in the face and change. They still have Colonels who act like sergeants and show no moral courage. There is no support for innovation, no doctrine, no lessons learned, no drone coordination, no proper training, no working recruitment, no proper KPIs, and the soldier killing bureaucracy has not been removed. There is no proper respect for life for soldiers. The small Soviet army still exists and cannot win a war like this. What change there is, is simply too slow. It is far too slow. It is the job of MOD to make these things happen and in the things that really count, they are failing badly.
I write this after 13 years of trying to help. 13 years of pushing water uphill. Now change must happen and organised by true Ukrainians or Ukraine is lost and Russian slavery will return.

Well done Glen! I read the daily talk of potential arms supplies to Ukraine from all over the World. Bottom line is they need them NOW! Time for the USA to learn that if it won’t face up to its responsibilities as the leader of the free world then perhaps the free world might start to ignore them. BUT, whatever, Ukraine must be supported to the full. Anything else is a win for Putin.

If the US government can spring into life to defend Israel from Iran why cannot it spring into life to defend Ukraine against much larger and more frequent multiple attacks? One law for the rich and one for the poor methinks. Do I smell something rotten about the money/congress excuses about Ukraine emanating from the #White House?

Zelensky: the power plant in Kyiv was destroyed because airdefense had no more missiles. Russia used 11 missiles in this attack, the airdefense system had only 7 missiles left. So, 7 downed, 4 hits.
After two world wars, a more or less unspoken agreement international was, never do an imperialistic war again to take over parts or complete souvereign countries. So i believed very strong in that principle, even with german WWII History and Result in mind.
As Putler the Invasion has started, this point of maturity of human mankind and attribute of modern civilisation was brutally broken by his barbaric attitude.
Maybe many thing haven been bad in earlier times, maybe the western interests have also influenced the relations between former Ruzzia and Ukraine, there is no black, no white. And americans are even not angels, the also play their global game.
But, still the line was accepted, no one never go with army into an souvereign country with the target to murder the people and destroy their existence and take the land away. Hitler has done it and the believe was, that never will happen again.
Then, Putler has rised up, as Adolf 2.0.
Now the believe was, that international coalition will stand up strong. But the reality is, the newer generations are too much opportunists. Maybe Macron has more bone and clear vision what is absolutely necessary to do.
Specially the american republicans, strongly influenced by this ever scandal making Trump, are disgusting to mix their own interests with the urgend need to stop the Putler because he has broken the international accepted human evolutionionary NO GO of doing an hitler style invasion war again.
But these fools are looking only on their own and i have to state that allies from the past, protecting after war germany and europe, these are not the same americans fighting without compromize for freedom and peace, they are now half way betrayers, leaving the burning house of ukraine more or less on its own and discuss about their own little world stuff. Trump furthermore is the greatest betrayer, he would never fight for freedom and peace and souvereignity in the terms of human mankind and civilisatory value. He is only a bad dealmaker. Other countries like baltic states or czech have much more vision and willing to keep these civilisatory attributes.
Is is disgusting to see this Mike Johnson how he is acting. The well hairdressed and glasses outfitted man who wears blood on his hands by delaying any help to Ukraine an in background the nighmarish Donald Trump daily insinsting how to do.
That is not the great america i know as a child, with Kennedy as a President of civil values and visions.
Hopefully, the europeans learn quickly, that the threat of putlers nazi reich is very real and it really will not end at the west borders of ukraine.
But, specially in germany, much too many ruzzia lovers still in politics, specially the socialdemocrats, who love more to make appeasements and the big icon of ” do nothing and decide nothing” Sholz is a bit hit into everybodies face who believes in democracy and peace and freedom. These values never can be preserved with appeasement or trumpistic deal making. No.
So what we have actually is a real dramatic situation on the battlefield, improper international supply of materials to ukraine and of course a not united werchowna rada and a twilighted president. Only the fact that small groups of ukrainian solders are forced to please on knees for some drones or a car or other immediately needed stuff leaves you spechless. Where is the big army supply chain, buying thousands of SUV and drones and all the stuff what is urgend needed at front line?
Well there are many more factors and arguments and for shure i cannot highlight them all but it is clear that europe must stay strong with ukraine, for the sake of themselve keeping existence, also ukrain government must stay strong together and all hands of corruption must keep out of that business. America, don’t trust too much, its not the same as i know as child. Best way is, to empower yourself and collaborate with real allies who are willing to go the road until the successful end with you. 2025 are elections in germany and hopefully we can get better politicians in duty as we have at the moment not playing with useless games on clima discussions but more provide aid to ukraine.
