Ukraine’s drone chief says force is ready for new wave of conscripted Russian ‘serfs’ – and vows to ramp up casualties
The commander of Ukraine’s drone forces, Robert Brovdi, has warned that humanity is “losing control” over artificial intelligence in warfare, describing autonomous drones as the “plague of the third millennium”.
In a wide-ranging and exclusive interview with The Telegraph, Mr Brovdi detailed how Ukrainian drone operations have brought the war to Russian soil, effectively destroying the concept of a “safe rear” across the European part of Russia.
He warned that Vladimir Putin is preparing to throw hundreds of thousands of new, untrained troops – which he described as “biomaterial” and “stewed meat” – into the grinder of the frontline by the end of 2026.
Brovdi also directed fierce criticism at NATO, warning that “limited flexibility” and the presence of political “Orbans” within the alliance are severely hindering Europe’s ability to deter Russian aggression.
Speaking directly to the UK, he urged the government to press ahead with the creation of a dedicated Unmanned Systems Force, warning that “delaying decision-making is basically fatal.”

“In 2026, this situation has been changed by our freedom-loving Ukrainian ‘birds’. Deep operations have effectively destroyed the concept of having a safe rear across the entire European part of Russia.”
Ukraine has proved itself to be very capable of eliminating orcs in vast numbers; albeit at great cost to the human flesh and blood of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
But genocidal nazi totalitarians like putler are prepared to take unlimited losses. EXCEPT the level of losses that makes their occupation simply and finally untenable.
What level would that be?
No one knows. The defenders remove 30,000 invading orcs +/month from their sacred land at present.
At what point will the orc occupation begin to creak and then collapse?
Again, no one knows.
But the allies, unwilling as they are to put boots on the ground or even planes in the air, must help Ukraine to dramatically increase its lethality to the foul scum sent by the Kremlin.
In double quick time.
This means the provision of all types of killing machines and in dizzying numbers.
We cannot leave this vital work solely in the hands of the great Mr Brovdi.
‘We will turn Putin’s new foot soldiers into stewed meat.’
Which roaming packs of wild dogs will convert into excrement.

What a disgusting human being this man is to talk about deaths like that. Ukraine have done remarkably well to hold back the Russians this long, but that is no excuse to descend to barbarity. There is such a thing – even in war – as the moral high ground.

An extremely misguided comment.
Mr Brovdi is a businessman who reinvented himself as a warrior to save his country and his loved ones from savages.
The murder gang that calls itself a government in Russia has repeatedly stated its desire for genocide. Putin’s philosopher; Aleksandr Dugin, wrote on social media back in 2014 that a “genocide of cretins” in Ukraine was due and inevitable.
Aleksandr Dugin stated on Russian state television during the early conflict in Donbas that Ukrainians needed to be “killed, killed, killed”.
It became official policy in 2022 when RIA Novosti published a genocidal document : “what to do with Ukraine?”
I look forward to your outrage at this, instead of kicking the victim.
