The American president believes that the current generation will have to save the world from tyranny, as it was 80 years ago.

The West “will not leave” Ukraine against the background of a full-scale Russian invasion . This was announced by US President Joe Biden at a ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy.
“We will not leave, because if we do, Ukraine will be conquered, and it will not end there. Ukraine’s neighbors will be under threat, all of Europe will be under threat,” Biden said at the ceremony, which was attended by other world leaders.
The American president noted that Adolf Hitler once believed that democracies were weak and that the future belonged to dictatorships. However, the soldiers of the Anti-Hitler Coalition, particularly on the beaches of Normandy, proved that freedom and democracy are worth fighting for even at the cost of their own lives, Biden said.
He noted that the “dark forces” with which the allies fought 80 years ago have not disappeared, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine is an example of this.
“Ukrainians fight with incredible courage, suffer heavy losses, but never lose heart. They have inflicted extraordinary losses on Russia. The United States, NATO and a coalition of more than 50 countries will stand firmly on the side of Ukraine,” Biden said.
He emphasized that allowing Russia to invade Ukraine would mean that the West had forgotten its Normandy heroes.
“The Allies on Landing Day did their duty. Now the question is with us, and this is our time of trial, whether we will do our part. We live in times when democracy is under great threat throughout the world. We must ask ourselves whether we will resist tyranny, evil, devastating cruelty, will we stand for freedom and democracy. My answer is ‘Yes’ and it can only be ‘Yes,'” Biden said.

Words don’t strike Moscow.
He’s a politician. I don’t need to say more.
Under Biden, the US will never leave Ukraine!
Good to know, but gee didn’t he say something similar about the US always being there to support the Afghan government and people right before the US/Nato disastrous “withdrawal”?
