Over the next six months, Ukraine will have an advantage on the battlefield thanks to sound and competitive procurement.
Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov spoke about this “window of opportunity” for Ukraine in an interview with TSN.
What did Fedorov say about the war?
Fedorov said that the ministry has changed many procurement procedures.
“Essentially, we’re shaping a different battlefield. Because supplies have changed, drone quality is improving, and a different battlefield reality is emerging,” he noted.
At the same time, Russians, as experience from previous years shows, are adapting and trying to seize the initiative.
But in the next six months, Ukraine will definitely have the advantage. All Russia can do now is terrorize the civilian population.
For example, during the June 15 attack, it launched dozens of ballistic missiles at Kyiv. Putin understands that this is practically the only issue Ukraine cannot resolve on its own.
But Putin’s agony and nerves have no effect on the situation on the battlefield or on weapons production in Ukraine.
“This is simply moral pressure, and he continues to apply it, accumulating everything he can over the course of two to three weeks. We see this as his maximum,
” Fedorov noted.
Let us recall that during the massive attack on June 15, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, the Dovzhenko Film Studio, the legendary market on Pochaina Street, and others were damaged.
In Kyiv, 5 people were killed and 35 more were injured.
Meanwhile, in Kharkiv, Russians killed firefighters in a second strike. Kharkiv authorities reported five people killed and nine injured.
