“We were close to death”: at the beginning of the war, a malfunction was found in Duda’s plane

Also on board was the head of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces.

At the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, in the spring of 2022, Poland was investigating a possible assassination attempt on the president and chief of the General Staff of the country’s Armed Forces.

Polish journalist Zbigniew Parafianowicz spoke about this in his book Polska na wojnie (“Poland at War”). On March 25, Andrzej Duda and General Raimund Andrzejczak flew to Rzeszow to meet with the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden.

At some point, the new Boeing 737-800 NG had to make an emergency landing. Passengers claim they were “close to death” after a trim malfunction left pilots struggling with the controls. After landing, the delegation transferred to another plane.

Then the possibility of sabotage or attempted murder was considered as one of the probable reasons.

Tu-154 crash in Smolensk

Let us recall that on April 10, 2010, a Polish government plane crashed near the Russian Smolensk-Severny airfield. The delegation went to mourning events on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Katyn massacre.

There were 96 people on board. Then the President of Poland Lech Kaczynski and his wife, the country’s military command, politicians, as well as public and religious figures died.

  1. I hope the Poles will remain very vigilant towards mafia land. Mafia land managed to assassinate a number of leaders all at once already, by Smolensk, mentioned above.

As everybody who read news reports knows, since the two crashes of the Boeing 737 Max planes it has become common knowledge that trim control can be a risk on these planes. The 737 NG series, the older model, doesn’t have the highly problematic mcas system which caused the accidents, but trim “runaways” are known on these planes, too, and the US manufacturer relies on the pilots to notice that and shut automatic trimming off, if necessary. To do this, there are two switches on the trim control, which have a significantly different function compared with the more modern pkanes. It’s urgently important to understand the working of the system and the wiring of the button, any onlyfusion about this not especially well documented feature can lead to a very dangerous situation.
So, to me, based on previous news reports, this looks much more like a safety issue and a lack of knowledge about trim control in that particular plane than sabotage. Since the Kaczynski crash, most probably triggered by pilots und political pressure trying to land in unsuitable weather on an outdated military airport without necessary landing systems, Poles have become obsessive about possible assasination attempts by Russia. But not every conspiracy theory is real.

    • Why has mafia land refused to let the Polish authorities examine the wreckage of the plane that killed half their government? This is no rhetorical question.
