Ukraine needs Europe more than Europe needs it. Only the Armed Forces can protect Europe from an aggressor country.
This statement was made by the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb. He emphasized that
the most reliable security guarantee that Ukraine currently has is the 800,000 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“This is a strong armed force and the ability to wage modern warfare, unlike any other NATO member state. The tide has truly turned. We Europeans need to understand that we need Ukraine more than it needs us. They know how to do it,” Stubb added.
He also spoke about the peace agreement with the Russian Federation.
“I just don’t see Putin changing his mind. I was optimistic for a few months, but this turned out to be a classic Russian delaying tactic,” Stubb summed up his opinion.
It was previously reported that Russian air defense is already facing a shortage of missiles to counter Ukrainian drones. This is due to the systematic strikes by the Defense Forces on enemy production facilities.
OBOZ.UA also reported that Russia plans to resume mass operation of outdated AN-2 aircraft to compensate for the failure of modern aircraft projects and the shortage of small aircraft. However, even this forced step has been threatened by the lack of available engines and technical limitations.
Europe should be begging Ukraine to join it, both into the EU and especially NATO.
The continent is in danger of drifting into insignificance in this world due to its exceedingly poor leadership. It pretends as if it’s still relevant while the US and china are playing ball with it.
