Continuing to support Ukraine, which is resisting Russian aggression with “unwavering determination and steadfastness,” is a key U.S. interest. If Russia is not stopped and Ukraine is allowed to fail, Moldova will be the next victim of Russian aggression, followed by the Baltic States.
So the US should “arm Ukraine to the teeth,” because this is the only way to prevent a large-scale World War III, which NATO will inevitably be drawn into. This was stated by American pastor Mark Burns, who is called the “spiritual advisor” of US President Donald Trump.
Burns, who consistently positions himself as a supporter of Trump’s declared principle of “Make America Great Again” (“Let’s return America to its former greatness”) and the current US president himself, was previously an ardent opponent of continuing military aid to Ukraine. However, his worldview was radically turned upside down by a trip to Ukraine, where he saw with his own eyes the crimes committed by Russia against the Ukrainian people. Since then, Burns has been advocating at all possible levels the importance of not only continuing, but also increasing assistance to Ukraine in protecting it from Russian aggression.
He made another call for this in a statement published on his personal account on the X network.
“I salute the brave people of Ukraine for their unwavering resilience and unwavering stand against tyranny. As a pastor, an American, a Trump supporter since day one of MAGA, and a man of God, my heart breaks for the innocent lives lost — over 5,000 Ukrainian and Russian soldiers every week — and I call on the world to unite in both prayer and action to stop this senseless killing,” Burns said, somehow equating the Ukrainians who were the victims of the attack with the Russians who have started and continue to wage an aggressive war on foreign soil.
He emphasized that it is in support of Ukraine that the main principle that Trump promised to implement after winning the presidential election will be most clearly manifested.
“I have always stated that supporting Ukraine is America above all else. Russia’s aggressive association with the BRICS is a direct threat to the American dollar, our economy, and our global leadership,” the pastor explained his opinion.
Moreover, he is convinced that only by helping Ukraine can the US prevent the planet from plunging into a bloody third world war. Because, blinded by his own impunity, the Russian dictator will not stop at Ukraine.
“If we don’t draw the line in Ukraine, we risk seeing Moldova fall next, and then the Baltics, dragging NATO into a full-scale World War III. We cannot afford that. The time to act is now,” Burns stressed.
He welcomed a “critical step forward” in preventing World War III – the recent deal to upgrade F-16s as part of a new U.S.-Ukraine mineral resources partnership. He also called for giving Ukrainian soldiers more weapons.
“We must arm Ukraine to the teeth, not to provoke war, but to prevent further bloodshed and contain the spread of tyranny. Peace does not come through weakness; it comes through strength and determination. The path to peace is paved with strength, unity, and unwavering faith. Let us pray for the families of the dead, for the leaders who make difficult decisions, and for a just peace that rises from the ashes of war. May God bless Ukraine, may God bless America, and may God grant us the wisdom and courage to defend freedom where it is threatened,” Burns emphasized.
Recall, Burns previously pointed out a big problem after his trip to Ukraine : according to him, Trump has become a “target of fake news.” He said that the media is attacking the Republican president, portraying him as an enemy of democracy and a racist, although in reality this is not true.
No doubt about it, the trip to Ukraine has forced Pastor Burns to face reality, and he faced it with an open mind. I’m pleased that he is now an ardent supporter of Ukraine and opponent of mafia land, after seeing the horrors and terror that the mafia state has brought to the country.
I know that the orange felon is not a religious person, but maybe Burns can influence him at least a little.
