The Russian Federation has many more people, the president said.

Russia on the eastern and northern fronts loses six military personnel killed per Ukrainian. This statement was made by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in an interview with a journalist from The Philadelphia Inquirer, answering the question of how Ukraine can overcome Russia’s superiority in manpower and weapons.

“It is true that they have many more people, and it is true that we care more about our people. But today on the eastern and northern fronts we have one killed Ukrainian for every six Russians,” he said.
