“We did our job”: Zelensky answered whether he obtained permission for deep strikes on the Russian Federation

The President of Ukraine presented the “Victory Plan” to the US leadership, which includes, in particular, deep strikes on the Russian Federation.

Ukraine is “in dialogue” with the US leadership regarding the lifting of the ban on deep strikes against the Russian Federation by Western weapons. President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said this in an interview with the Fox News channel .

So, to a journalist’s direct question whether Ukraine has come close to lifting the ban as a result of the latest negotiations with the US leadership, Zelenskyy answered simply:

We are in dialogue

Zelensky emphasized that obtaining permission for deep strikes is extremely important, and assured that the strikes will be carried out exclusively for military purposes.

According to the Ukrainian leader, Ukraine has “done its job” in justifying its “Victory Plan”, which involves deep strikes on the Russian Federation – now it’s up to Ukraine’s partners.

“We started going. We took this plan with details, gave it to Biden, shared some ideas with Kamala and Donald. I have no skepticism about it now. I’m more positive. But we’ll see,” Zelensky added.
