“We did not see any hidden wealth of Putin’s inner circle.” Peskov – on the publication of the “Pandora’s Archive”

Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin “did not see any hidden wealth of Putin’s inner circle” in the publications of Pandora’s Archive, a series of investigations about offshore politicians and officials from different countries, including Russia.

“I don’t know, it’s like the publication will continue, but so far we haven’t seen anything special,” Peskov said, answering a question from a CNN journalist at a press call.

Answering a question from Ekho Moskvy whether this means that the Kremlin knew about the offshores of the Russians mentioned in the investigation, Peskov said: therefore, it is not clear how this information can be trusted ”.

There is no reason to check the information from the Pandora Archive, he added, yet. “First there must be some kind of serious publication,” Peskov said, adding that while it is a question of “a set of rather unfounded statements”.

“Probably the only thing that really catches your eye is the demonstration of which state is the world’s largest offshore lagoon and tax lagoon. This is, of course, the United States, “- said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

Among the Russians, the Pandora Archive mentions, among others, the general director of Channel One Konstantin Ernst, the family of the head of Rostec Sergey Chemezov, the head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino, Sergey Lavrov’s son-in-law Alexander Vinokurov, as well as Svetlana Krivonogikh, who is called a close friend of Vladimir Putin and allegedly the mother of his third daughter.
