🪆 Putin wanted to humble the USA and Western democracies. He wanted to demonstrate that the USA was never “exceptional” and was led by hypocrites and grifters. Putin wanted to prove America was just as vulnerable to disease, corruption and political violence as any other country.

📺 From his televised address on February 24, 2022, Putin said: “Nearly everywhere, in many regions of the world where the United States brought its law and order, this created bloody, non-healing wounds and the curse of international terrorism and extremism… Just lies and hypocrisy all around.”
