Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi visited the command post of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk region on Monday, November 3. He reported that the defense has been reinforced with additional units, weapons, equipment, and unmanned systems.
The general spoke about the continuation of his work in the Donetsk region in a Telegram channel . The specific location where Syrsky was located was not disclosed.
“I heard reports from commanders on the ground regarding the current situation and urgent needs. Key issues: securing logistics, actions of assault groups to displace the enemy from urban areas,” the commander-in-chief reported.
According to him, the Defense Forces are increasing pressure on the invaders on the Dobropil salient. The liberation and clearing of territories is ongoing, and this ” forces the enemy to disperse its forces and makes it impossible to concentrate its main efforts in the Pokrovsk area.”
Over the past 24 hours (November 2), Ukrainian assault units have advanced in certain areas in the Dobropillya area.
In total, 188 km² were liberated during the operation, 248.7 km² were cleared of Russian DRGs.
Syrsky thanked every Ukrainian defender, noting that the destruction of the enemy continues.

– The 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Assault Troops stated that the operation to clear Pokrovsk of occupation units is ongoing. The defense forces are consistently narrowing the enemy’s presence in the city and preventing his plans to block the key road to Rodynske.
– Ukraine “has practically lost Pokrovsk,” says volunteer and founder of the “Return Alive” foundation Vitaliy Deynega. He is convinced that it also makes no sense to hold neighboring Myrnograd due to the loss of safe logistical routes.
