Captured Russian military intelligence officer Maxim Chernik said that there are no fascists in Ukraine about whom the Putin regime brazenly lies. Russian troops purposefully sent to fight a peaceful nation.

He spoke about this during a briefing on March 9.

“There are no fascists or oppression, as we were told… We are fighting against a peaceful nation that lived well and would live well without us,” he said.

The Russian apologized to the Ukrainians and noted that there are many like him, and upon his return, it will not be possible to remain silent in the Russian Federation about the crimes of the Putin regime in Ukraine.
