Spanish-American Chef José Andrés and his World Central Kitchen are beloved in Ukraine. Unlike many groups, they’ve not abandoned the cause. Today hearts were heavy in Ukraine after hearing that seven WCK volunteers were killed in an Israeli Defense Forces strike in Gaza, whose Hamas organization has been on a campaign to destroy Israel.

Joe is a treasure. His cheerfulness and advocacy for Ukraine is infectious. How the country that produces people like him also turns out dogshit like MTG is a mystery.
I agree with him about Ukrainian cuisine; it is one of the great cuisines of the world. Except salo! How naturally slim and fit people like them are addicted to salted pork fat is a mystery! Although I did read somewhere that it lowers cholesterol and stabilizes the liver! Sounds insane, but might be true.
