War criminal Putin has nothing to do with the victory over Nazism

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has called on the world not to allow the aggressor country Russia to destroy the world order, which is based on respect for international law and was established thanks to the joint victory over Nazism in World War II. It recalled that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had nothing to do with the victory over Nazism.

This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs dated May 8. On this day, Ukraine and the world celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939-1945, which laid the foundations of the modern world order and the development of humanity.

The Foreign Ministry noted that all the peoples of the former USSR, the allied states of the anti-Hitler coalition, made their invaluable contribution to overcoming Nazism for the sake of a happy and peaceful future for future generations. At the same time, today Russia, having unleashed a full-scale war of aggression in Europe, unprecedented since those times, is trying to appropriate the victory over Nazism for itself.

“The Kremlin claims that Russia would have won World War II on its own, without allies or other nations, and seeks to monopolize the joint victory of the Allies over Hitler. As if Russia alone played a decisive role in this and suffered the greatest losses. In fact, the greatest human and material losses in that war were not suffered by Russia, but by the countries and nations that found themselves between it and Germany, primarily Ukraine,” the Foreign Ministry noted.

They also recalled that the liberation of Europe from Nazism did not bring freedom to many European peoples. After all, after the end of World War II, the dictatorial Stalinist regime occupied Eastern and Central Europe. The Soviet regime committed numerous crimes that must be properly condemned.

“Unlike Ukraine, the USA, Great Britain, France and other countries of the world, which are making every effort for peace, modern Russia has not only failed to draw conclusions from the past, but has also chosen “We can do it again” as its slogan, and militarism and neo-imperialism as its ideology. By emphasizing its exceptional role in the victory over Nazism, the Kremlin is diverting attention from its crimes in both the past and the current aggressive war against Ukraine,” the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.

Addressing the international community, the department noted that Russia will traditionally hold a parade on May 9, which for many years has not honored the memory of those who died in World War II, but rather serves the purposes of Russian propaganda. And even Putin’s announcement of a three-day “ceasefire” (which Russian troops have already violated) demonstrates that the Kremlin values parades and bellicose propaganda, not the preservation of human lives and the restoration of peace.

“The Russian scoundrel who will host this parade has nothing to do with the victory over Nazism. He is a war criminal, for whose arrest the International Criminal Court has issued a warrant. The Russian soldiers who will march in front of him are also not liberators from Nazism. They are occupiers, war criminals, looters, rapists and murderers. In fact, Putin’s parade on May 9 will not glorify the past victory over Nazi Germany, but modern fascist Russia,” the Foreign Ministry said.

They called on the international community to prevent Russia from destroying the world order based on respect for international law and established thanks to the joint victory over Nazism in World War II. The partners were called on to join forces to increase pressure on the terrorist state, which should force it to stop the aggressive war against Ukraine and restore a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine and all of Europe based on respect for international law, the UN Charter and the Helsinki Final Act.

As OBOZ.UA reported, according to media reports, five members of the European Parliament will come to Putin at the parade on May 9. Among them are two German members of parliament from the Sarah Wagenknecht Union party, Michael von der Schulenburg and Ruth Firmenich. At the highest level, the Kremlin expects 29 countries to be represented at the parade.

  1. What will happen tomorrow in moscovy is nothing but a cynical clown show in which one blood-drinking vampire celebrates a victory over another blood-drinking vampire, and this victory would never have happened without the help of the United States.
I hope Ukraine will attack this farce!

    • A couple of drones with blue and yellow smoke flying over this nazi parade will do for me. The humiliation will be too much for putler.

      • That would do for me too, but a few massive explosions and fireballs would be even more satisfying.

  2. The terrorist regime are that great, by this time next year the war will have the same duration as their patriotic war, with fuck all to show for it, except a destroyed military and a destroyed economy.
