Want to Stop Putin in Ukraine? Then You Have to Stop Trump

Greg Terry Experience

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has put a blunt choice on the table: Ukraine can stop striking Russian oil refineries if Russia stops attacking Ukraine’s energy system—or if Ukraine receives a one-month supply of Patriot missiles. And here’s the part critics keep leaving out: Zelenskyy says Ukraine is prepared to PAY for those missiles. So why are some people twisting his words to make it sound like he’s begging? That omission changes the entire argument.

Meanwhile, footage presented in this episode shows massive smoke rising from a reported oil facility fire in Samara, Russia. We also examine alarming reports from Ukrainian sources that Russia is preparing a potentially devastating missile-and-drone assault, with strategic bombers reportedly repositioned and western Ukraine’s energy infrastructure potentially in the crosshairs. These are serious warnings about a possible attack, not confirmation that it has already happened.

And with America’s November 3 midterm elections just one day away, the political stakes could hardly be higher. I confront Donald Trump’s extraordinary claim about the Vietnam War, challenge UN Ambassador Mike Waltz’s statements about Iranian oil and Russian diesel, and examine reports that Xi Jinping does not intend to discuss Ukraine at a possible trilateral summit involving the United States, Russia, and China.

But there’s also a moral question I refuse to ignore. How can anyone claim to be pro-life while turning a blind eye to civilians being killed in Ukraine and other wars? Whether we’re discussing Washington, Moscow, Beijing, or the battlefield, human lives cannot become bargaining chips in somebody else’s political calculation.

  1. Trump is not the problem. Zelensky always invites for talks, later he says he won’t make any territorial concessions. When Zaluzhny told him that Ukraine cannot retake the occupied territories, he just fired him. Meanwhile putin wants territory the invaders don’t even control nor can they take that land. The problem goes far deeper.

    • So the guy holding up Patriot missiles that Europe have paid for is not the problem? He’s complicit in the murder of Ukrainian civilians.

      • Will Patriots help to retake the occupied territories? Or is putin just trying to bleed dry Nato air defenses?

        • They would save lives, and critical infrastructure. I think it’s Trump who is trying to bleed NATO air defenses. Using two Patriots to shoot down cheap Iranian drones is not very economical.
