Vitaly Portnikov is a Ukrainian editor and journalist, and host of a popular and influential YouTube channel. He has worked as a columnist for Radio Liberty and is a regular author of analytical articles in Ukrainian publications on political and historical topics. He is a member of PEN Ukraine, and a laureate of the 2023 Shevchenko Prize for excellence in “journalistic articles and speeches”. In 2013 Portnikov was one of the organisers of the Euromaidan demonstrations.
