According to the head of the country’s Foreign Ministry, the final amount of support has not yet been determined.

Norway plans a “significant” increase in aid to Ukraine . This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country, Espen Bart Eide, reports Le Monde .
It is noted that Norway is a country that consistently provides Ukraine with significant support.
“We are talking about a significant increase, which is really relevant compared to what we have done so far,” the diplomat said.
According to him, the amount has not yet been determined as it should be the subject of discussion with other parties.
“We cannot be complacent and say that we are giving a lot. We really need to think about how this will end strategically. And a Russian victory is not an option,” added the minister, who visited Ukraine last week.
The publication also notes that the Scandinavian country has pledged to provide Ukraine with civil and military assistance in the amount of 75 billion crowns (6.5 billion euros) for the period 2023-2027. Its prime minister, Labor leader Jonas Gahr Store, announced this weekend that the package could be increased, something also demanded by parts of the right-wing opposition.

It appears that no country was willing to commit until the US started the ball rolling. This is great news, the Kremlin should give up now, but we know putler is in too deep to do that.
You beat me to it again, foccusser. Well done! 😬
I come across this last night on YouTube, I couldn’t stop laughing. Even my wife saw the mistake, and English is her 3rd language.

Indeed, “are” children will be protected when the orange maggot is in prison! 😂
The February 16th report of the Ukraine support tracker at the IfW proves otherwise, see Figures 2 through 5:

What we see there is that European contributions steadily increased while the US ones flatlined! I admit that the EU didn’t manage to compensate for the shortfall, though. The next report is due in two days, but I don’t expect a different picture. US blockade, increased European support, but all in all not enough for Ukraine, that was the problem. 🤔
It looks like that the House finally passing the Ukraine aid bill has got the ball rolling in Europe.
Slowly but surely, European politicians are understanding what’s at stake and are getting serious about enabling Ukraine to succeed. That’s great, but what’s concerning is that this still is very much limited to the Northern countries, while the European South doesn’t show the same determination, not even remotely. Too many heads of state ignore that this is a threat to all of Europe, not only neighbors of Russia! In the tight knit EU with its lots of economical connections, a Russian attack on an Eastern European country would have farreaching consequences which wouldn’t spare France, Italy and Spain. In this dire situation for the community, no freeriding on security can he allowed, all member states have to contribute to the defence against the Russian aggression! It’s high time that Southern European governments are called to task and ordered to provide a fair share. Because membership comes with responsibilities, too! 🤨
Btw:
“My Country Knows What Happens When You Do a Deal With Russia”
A Moldovan journo tells it as it is: Russia can’t be trusted! A deal doesn’t create peace, the invaders have to he defeated instead. 🤨
