Veterans of the Colombian police commandos fighting for Ukraine. Who would’ve thought?
There was a report earlier this year which mentioned retired Columbian military fighting for Ukraine. I thought Columbia was not so much pro-Ukraine. I could be wrong, though. At least these guys aren’t.
The spokesman for the Columbians made a heartwarming speech. I wish there were a million of them. The men in the video looked like indigenous people, who of course suffered greatly from colonialist genocide. So there is synergy there.
I’ve said many times before that Ukraine has a chronic troop shortage. Central and South America could be a good source of professional mercs to top up the numbers. It shouldn’t be necessary but I’m afraid it is now.
