The US Vice President suggested that Putin does not know how to get out of the war.
Negotiations to end the war in Ukraine have reached a dead end, US Vice President J.D. Vance said, as quoted by Clash Report .
“We understand that the negotiations on the war in Ukraine have reached a certain impasse,” he noted.
He also suggested that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin “doesn’t seem to quite know how to get out of the war.”
“If Russia is unwilling to participate, ultimately the United States has to say this is not our war,” Vance added.
It is worth noting that these statements were made shortly before a planned phone call between US President Donald Trump and dictator Putin.
