๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ USA, keep your word โ€“ let Ukraine strike back.

“Hand over your gun, and we’ll guarantee your safety!”
โ€” Holos Ukrainy newspaper, 1993

And we handed it over, and now we are being crushed by those who were supposed to protect us.

โ˜ข๏ธ After the collapse of Soviet Union, Ukraine inherited the third-largest nuclear arsenal in the world, consisting of approximately 1,900 strategic nuclear warheads and a large number of tactical nuclear weapons, stationed on its territory.

On December 5th, 1994, the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances was signed. Under this agreement, Ukraine committed to transferring all its nuclear warheads to russia for dismantlement and joined the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) as a non-nuclear-weapon state.

In exchange, Ukraine received assurances of its sovereignty and territorial integrity from ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ the United States, russia, and ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง the United Kingdom. Later, ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ China and ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท France provided weaker, individual assurances.

Signatories promised:

โ†’ Respect for Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty in the existing borders
โ†’ Refraining from threats or use of force against Ukraine
โ†’ Assurance against economic coercion
โ†’ Seek immediate #SecurityCouncil action to provide assistance to Ukraine if it “๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐›๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐š ๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐š๐ง ๐š๐œ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐š๐ ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ซ ๐š๐ง ๐จ๐›๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐š ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐š๐ ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐ฐ๐ก๐ข๐œ๐ก ๐ง๐ฎ๐œ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ž๐š๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž๐”

๐Ÿงป๐Ÿ“„ International agreements and security guarantees are worth less than toilet paper.

The main lesson is: never rely on others for your safety, and never give up your nukes or weapons.

FREE UKRAINIANS FROM ๐™๐™๐™Ž๐™Ž๐™„๐˜ผ๐™‰ ๐™‹๐™๐™„๐™Ž๐™Š๐™‰

๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Greetings from Kyiv, the capital of bravery.

In less than 24 hours of arriving in Ukraine, I participated in a run with the esteemed historian, Professor of Yale University and ambassador for UNITED24, Timothy Snyder. Together with other 1,000 participants we ran 10 km to support the cause of

(Meanwhile 72 Iranian-made Shahed drones were neautralised this night)

According to the Presidentโ€™s Commissioner for #HumanRights, Dmytro Lubinets, there are currently

We run to remind the world:
There is no peace until every Ukrainian is returned home.
There is no peace without justice.

Captivity is ๐™๐™š๐™ก๐™ก.
Captivity is ๐™ข๐™ช๐™ง๐™™๐™š๐™ง.
Captivity is ๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ฉ๐™ช๐™ง๐™š.

Alongside us were soldiers and veterans, Ukrainians who have endured ๐™—๐™ค๐™ข๐™—๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™จ, ๐™ค๐™˜๐™˜๐™ช๐™ฅ๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ, ๐™˜๐™–๐™ฅ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ซ๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ฎ, – simply those Ukrainians that managed to ๐™จ๐™ช๐™ง๐™ซ๐™ž๐™ซ๐™š – and families of prisoners who await their loved ones’ return.

We run to show that we stand with the families of the captives.

Free Ukrainian defenders and civilians from ๐™๐™๐™Ž๐™Ž๐™„๐˜ผ๐™‰ ๐™‹๐™๐™„๐™Ž๐™Š๐™‰.

  1. There is a direct nexus between the Budapest Memorandum and the genocide going on today.

โ€œFormer President Bill Clinton has expressed remorse over his role in negotiating a 1994 deal that resulted in Ukraine giving up its nuclear arsenal, suggesting that Russia never would have invaded its smaller neighbor if it still had nukes.ย
โ€œI feel a personal stake because I got them [Ukraine] to agree to give up their nuclear weapons. And none of them believe that Russia would have pulled this stunt if Ukraine still had their weapons,โ€ Clinton told Irish broadcaster RTE

    https://nypost.com/2023/04/05/bill-clinton-regrets-having-ukraine-give-up-nuclear-weapons/?utm_campaign=iphone_nyp&utm_source=pasteboard_app

Clinton; and everyone else involved, have a) failed to explain why Ukraine was skanked into signing a worthless document and/or
    b) if it was genuine, why didnโ€™t they do what they were required to do back in 2014, which is protect Ukraineโ€™s borders?

  2. Three US presidents have failed to honor this document. Needless to say, what mafia land did to it. There will never be another Budapest Memorandum-type agreement again. This means that nuclear disbarment will not happen … not for a very, very long time into the far distant future. Nukes mean safety. And, we see that mere threatening with nukes can let you get away with murder, war crimes, rape, destruction, looting, lying…
