🇺🇸 USA, keep your word – let Ukraine strike back.

And we handed it over, and now we are being crushed by those who were supposed to protect us.

☢️ After the collapse of Soviet Union, Ukraine inherited the third-largest nuclear arsenal in the world, consisting of approximately 1,900 strategic nuclear warheads and a large number of tactical nuclear weapons, stationed on its territory.

On December 5th, 1994, the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances was signed. Under this agreement, Ukraine committed to transferring all its nuclear warheads to russia for dismantlement and joined the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) as a non-nuclear-weapon state.

In exchange, Ukraine received assurances of its sovereignty and territorial integrity from 🇺🇸 the United States, russia, and 🇬🇧 the United Kingdom. Later, 🇨🇳 China and 🇫🇷 France provided weaker, individual assurances.

Signatories promised:

→ Respect for Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty in the existing borders
→ Refraining from threats or use of force against Ukraine
→ Assurance against economic coercion
→ Seek immediate #SecurityCouncil action to provide assistance to Ukraine if it “𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐧𝐮𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝”

🇨🇦 Canada is set to screen the propagandistic film “𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 at War” today. This movie was filmed in Ukraine on occupied territories without the permission of the Ukrainian government, violating international regulations – without the consent of the legitimate government to produce footage, especially if they are operating in occupied territories.

🚩𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐳𝐢 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐣𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟐. 🚩

(My primary question over the past two years: Why do those who have never experienced moscow’s occupation act as if they know better?)

The filmmakers aim to portray the humane side of the 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬.

But what are they doing in Ukraine? Why did they come?
What about Bucha? Mariupol? Izium? Bakhmut? Kharkiv? Kherson? Pokrovsk?

The creators of the film dream of rekindling ties with the West and 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟑𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 in Ukraine.

“Since the beginning of the war on February 24, 2022, there have been a lot of bridges destroyed between russia and the West,”
Trofimova, the russian-Canadian director, ex-reporter for “RUSSIA TODAY” told reporters ahead of the premiere of her film “𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 at War”.

FREE UKRAINIANS FROM 𝙍𝙐𝙎𝙎𝙄𝘼𝙉 𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙎𝙊𝙉

📍🇺🇦 Greetings from Kyiv, the capital of bravery.

In less than 24 hours of arriving in Ukraine, I participated in a run with the esteemed historian, Professor of Yale University and ambassador for UNITED24, Timothy Snyder. Together with other 1,000 participants we ran 10 km to support the cause of 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙖𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨.

(Meanwhile 72 Iranian-made Shahed drones were neautralised this night)

According to the President’s Commissioner for #HumanRights, Dmytro Lubinets, there are currently
‼️about 28,000 𝙐𝙠𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 ‼️

We run to remind the world:
There is no peace until every Ukrainian is returned home.
There is no peace without justice.

Captivity is 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡.
Captivity is 𝙢𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧.
Captivity is 𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.

Alongside us were soldiers and veterans, Ukrainians who have endured 𝙗𝙤𝙢𝙗𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨, 𝙤𝙘𝙘𝙪𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮, – simply those Ukrainians that managed to 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙫𝙚 – and families of prisoners who await their loved ones’ return.

We run to show that we stand with the families of the captives.
