The United States extended sanctions against Nord Stream 2 to companies that provide services and equipment for ships involved in the construction of the pipeline. This is reported by the US State Department.
Such companies will be subject to the 2019 restrictions, according to which contractors were banned from working with Nord Stream under the threat of blocking American assets.
