The Georgian Dream’s decision to suspend Georgia’s EU accession process contradicts the promise enshrined in the constitution.
The United States of America has suspended its strategic partnership with Georgia . This was stated in a statement by the US State Department .

They noted that the ruling Georgian Dream party’s decision to suspend the country’s accession process to the EU contradicts the constitutional promise to the Georgian people to strive for full integration into the European Union and NATO.
“By halting Georgia’s EU accession process, Georgian Dream has rejected the possibility of closer ties with Europe and made Georgia more vulnerable to the Kremlin,” the State Department said in a statement.
The department believes that the Georgian people “overwhelmingly support integration with Europe,” while the United States “condemns excessive use of force by police against Georgians who are attempting to exercise their rights to express their opinions, including freedom of peaceful protest”:
“The anti-democratic actions of the Georgian Dream violated the core principles of our U.S.-Georgia strategic partnership, which was based on shared values and commitments to democracy, the rule of law, civil society, respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, and the fight against corruption. As a result, the United States suspended this mechanism.”
The State Department called on the Georgian government to “return to the Euro-Atlantic path, transparently investigate all violations in the parliamentary elections, and repeal anti-democratic laws that restrict freedom of assembly and expression.”

Being a neighbor of the Moskali invaders, you’d think they would know what happens when you let that kind of slime into your country, even if they didn’t learn that in 2008.
