US Senator from Alabama Tommy Tuberville said that “both sides” are to blame for the war in Ukraine, and that President Volodymyr Zelensky allegedly wants to “lure” NATO into this confrontation.

As The Hill writes , he made the relevant statements during an appearance on the radio show “Cats Roundtable”. “There is no doubt, because he (Zelensky, – UNIAN) cannot win this war on his own. He knows he will lose,” the Republican politician said.

Tuberville also commented on the operation of the Security Service of Ukraine codenamed “Web”, which resulted in the destruction of the strategic aviation of the Russian Federation. It was these aircraft that were used for massive shelling of the country:

“They drove trucks 2,000 miles into Russia. They had drones hidden in the back of these trucks. They approached the targets, opened up these trucks, the drones flew out and destroyed about 40 large aircraft that Russia uses in its nuclear arsenal. It was devastating. Again, both sides are to blame. Let’s end this. And President Trump is the only one who can do it.”

In addition, a US senator called the Ukrainian president a dictator who has created “all sorts of problems” for his country.

“We have a lot of money that has disappeared. No one knows where it went. I think both of these [countries] have lost between 500,000 and 700,000 people. It’s devastating for the world,” he said.
