The American politician called the peace proposal “a complete capitulation of Ukraine.”

US Democratic Senator Mark Warner sharply criticized US President Donald Trump’s proposed peace plan for Ukraine.

On Fox News , the politician called the initiative a “historically bad deal” and drew historical parallels with World War II.

Warner noted that the document effectively provides for “the complete capitulation of Ukraine” and could become analogous to the famous attempt at appeasement by Neville Chamberlain, who in 1938 gave in to Adolf Hitler’s demands before the start of World War II.

The senator noted that the original version of the peace plan was “developed solely with Russia’s position in mind.” However, Ukraine’s interests were neglected. Despite the Trump administration’s claims of revisions, Warner noted that the president is “changing his mind again” about whether the document is final.

“Ultimately, we all want peace, but not the kind of peace that rewards Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin,” he stressed.

    • Too bad that won’t happen. His narcissism wouldn’t allow it. Anyway don’t you know he’s always right

  1. Taco doesn’t care. According to his sick skull, appeasing a mass murderer and war criminal will make America great again.
