The U.S. Senate must make a decision before 19:00 local time (02:00 Kyiv time) regarding the submission of amendments to the bill, including support for Ukraine, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Oksana Markarova said.
“The Senate has already started its discussions, for now this is a procedure for discussing how amendments will be submitted, how we will move forward, and until 19:00 here [in Washington], it will already be night at home [02.00 at night Kyiv time], a decision will have to be made. If the senators come to an agreement on how they will submit amendments and how to move forward, then it will immediately be known how quickly we will move on to the consideration of the substance,” Markarova said on a national telethon on Friday evening.
She said the embassy is actively working to ensure that the bill “becomes law as soon as possible.”
The ambassador positively assessed the visit to Kyiv of a bipartisan delegation of the U.S. Congress and added that this is “an important visit that will be of great importance not only for the discussions that will take place today in Kyiv, but also when the delegation returns back.”
As reported, on February 8, a $95.34 billion bill, including aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, received procedural support in the Senate.

I can only pray this is passed
“Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) filed an amendment to the bill Thursday that would attach the hardline border security reforms included in H.R. 2, the House-passed Secure the Border Act.” (The Hill)
Perpetual motion by legislative terrorists. They will continue to oppose all solutions and to be irresponsible and immature criminals. They found a toy and can no longer part with it. As we have seen, they despise institutions, threaten their colleagues, do not respect political balances and above all do not want to resolve any problem out of pure bad faith.
Their biggest crime is forgetting that the US signed an agreement in 1994 that supposedly guaranteed Ukraine’s independence and security. In fact, this security was just an empty shell that partly allowed Ukraine to be invaded. So yes, de facto support for Ukraine is a problem that concerns American citizens and which must be freed from domestic political problems.
Moreover, according to C. Roy, from 2017 to 2021, millions of migrants entered the United States, while any executive branch could supposedly unilaterally close the southern border. “It didn’t happen” (info: The Hill) 🙂
