Ukraine’s attacks on oil refineries in Russia can affect global energy markets.

Details: Austin urged Ukraine to focus on attacking military targets.
Quote from Austin: “Those attacks could have a knock-on effect in terms of the global energy situation. Ukraine is better served in going after tactical and operational targets that can directly influence the current fight.”
More details: In addition, Austin called on Congress to approve supplemental military aid to Ukraine and stressed that such assistance would also help increase defence production in the United States and that the funds would help the defence industry.
Bloomberg reported that Austin’s comments were immediately condemned by Republican Senator Tom Cotton, who accused the White House of thwarting Ukraine’s effective actions for political reasons: “It sounds to me that the Biden administration doesn’t want gas prices to go up in an election year.”
Bloomberg also noted that the Biden administration has been focusing on fighting inflation, including gasoline prices for American consumers.

If Austin seriozsly believed this nonsense, which I don’t buy for a minute, he would be totally incompetent as a secretaryvof defence, even as a general. But how did he manage to rise that high, then? I can only conclude that he’s lying and that the real explanation are concerns aboutthe election. Which shouldn’t be Ukraine’s problem at all!
Anyway, a country that doesn’t deliver arms nor money has no standing to make such farreaching demands. Up your’s, Mr. Austin! 😠
Of course, the bottom line is the upcoming election, Mr. Gray. It’s dirty politics at its worse, except for Trump’s, which is even worse.
Cheap gas in your SUV and pickup is more important than the lives of a people.
As I recall, the US went after Nazi Germany’s fuel supplies and refineries in Romanian with a vengeance. But, that was okay. If Ukraine is doing the same thing, it’s not, despite the country’s very dire predicament of hanging by a nail of survival, and despite mafia land’s incessant attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
The US is currently giving almost zero to Ukraine to defend itself and has tied an arm behind its back regarding attacks on the aggressor nation. That was extremely stupid enough. Now, Ukraine has found a way to hurt the fascists, and this is also not okay with Biden. This stance is no better than what Trump is doing; playing with the survival of an entire nation for political reasons.
As I’ve said before, the Biden administration is the one of the country’s worst in our history.

Even though that’s madness, there’s method to it: If Biden loses the election, because of voters fuming over rising gas prices, Austin is out of his job. That explains this nonsense.

Instead of vomiting this bullshit at Ukraine, the administration should tell the American people WHY Ukraine is forced to attack those refineries and hence, the rise of gas prices. Maybe those stupid SUV and pickup truck driving morons will know that the source of this problem lies with the maga gangsters and the orange bastard. But, this administration is also stupid, as we see.
If Biden loses the election. that means Trump wins it, which means no more help for Ukraine from the USA.
It also means a green light for China, North Korea, Iran, and every other terrorist country and group to spread death and chaos across this globe. And there’s not a damned thing we could do to stop it.
Austin can argue that Ukraine needs more armament for military targets.
Ain’t gonna happen with Trump’s maga gangsters blocking military aid.
