US revises sanctions: Russians, ships, and businesses removed from register

The US Treasury Department has updated its sanctions lists, removing seven Russian citizens , two vessels, and two Turkish companies linked to Russian logistics.

As Censor.NET reports , this is stated on the website of the US Treasury Department.

In particular, the following were removed from the lists of special categories of citizens and prohibited persons (SDN):

  • Ivan Potanin (son of oligarch Vladimir Potanin, head of the Norilsk Nickel concern);
  • Herman Bilous (Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC AKB Novikombank);
  • Irina Kremleva (Member of the Board of PJSC Bank FC Otkritie);
  • Mikhail Klyukin (member of the Supervisory Board of PJSC Sovcombank);
  • Viktor Nikolaev (member of the board of PJSC Bank FC Otkritie);
  • Nadiya Cherkasova (member of the board of PJSC Bank FC Otkritie);
  • Maxim Smirnov (citizen of the Russian Federation).

 Two vessels, the Gennady Yegorov and the Vyacheslav Arshinov, were also removed from the sanctions lists . These are multi-purpose dry cargo vessels affiliated with the State Transport Leasing Company of Russia.

Two Turkish companies were also removed from the list: elevator manufacturer IDA Asansor, which is accused of circumventing sanctions and supplying goods to the Russian defense industry. Джерело: https://censor.net/ua/n4010123
