  1. Still going to be a few days before additional strike group in place, even then there will be a high risk to resistance movement in close proximity to many possible targets.

  2. There was never going to be any strike. With all the US navy either patrolling the water around the mighty Venezuela, or in the Pacific, it will be a least a week before any carrier group gets to the Med.
