US preparing important statement on weapons for Ukraine tomorrow – US Ambassador to NATO Whitaker

The United States will make an important statement on the supply of weapons to Ukraine tomorrow. This was stated by the US Permanent Representative to NATO Julian Whitaker, TSN reported on Tuesday, October 14.

According to Whitaker, the US intends to announce the transfer of a new package of weapons to Ukraine.

“Tomorrow, the US will make an important statement on the supply of weapons to Ukraine. The US has “powerful” systems that have not yet been transferred,” the US Permanent Representative to NATO said.

As we will recall, on October 13, the Axios publication reported that US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet on Friday, October 17, at the White House to discuss military assistance to Ukraine, in particular the possibility of transferring long-range Tomahawk missiles.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 13, US President Donald Trump said that he may agree to the transfer of long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine if russia refuses to end the war.

On October 7, Trump announced that he had effectively made a decision to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles.

On September 28, US Vice President JD Vance announced that the US was considering the possibility of transferring Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine.

On September 26, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked US President Donald Trump to provide Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles.

  1. I don’t think they would announce this weapons update unless it was good news for Ukraine and I also doubt they would invite Zelensky if it wasn’t good news for Ukraine.
I am curious to see what the “Trump will never help Ukraine” people say. I would predict they will say “its too late” or “its not enough” or “Congress did it,” or “NATO did it.” 😉
